Although Hugh Jackman is officially done with the role of Logan A.K.A. Wolverine, fans all over the world have looked back at the legacy of this iconic character, including Jackman's very own co-stars.

In a recent panel at Comic Con for the remake reboot redo of the Dark Phoenix storyline, X-Men: Dark Phoenix, several friends of Jackman recounted all of the times he accidentally stabbed them on set, with immense love and nostalgia. Patrick Stewart expressed a deep fondness for his Logan co-star, making a surprise appearance at San Diego Comic Con with a shocking amount of face bandages, having this to say about Jackman -- "There were a couple of times when he broke skin, as you can see here. At times, it would be to the point where I was at medical services daily. But it's Hugh, I mean, we love him."

Best friend and co-star of Stewart, Ian McKellen, also joined in, saying, "He would eat with the claws at craft services, and we would just watch in awe as he eviscerated the inside of his mouth trying to eat a chili cheese dog. I offered to feed him myself, but he flat out refused, insisting he needed to learn on his own. And when I suggested he simply remove the claws, he just smiled at me and started cutting up my food into little bite size pieces. Which was just classic Hugh, always being so polite."

James Marsden, who played Wolverine's fellow X-man and frenemy Cyclops, had a funny story to share about how the actor offered to tie Marsden's shoes, and upon doing so, ripped his Achilles heel to shreds. The injury resulted in the star being placed behind a podium for a majority of his screen time in Hairspray, which is also why he was limited to only doing The Carlton in every dance sequence. "Hugh is a gentleman through and through," Marsden commented, "But he loves those claws of his, and it was rare to see him without them."

After an unfortunate incident that occurred on the set of X-Men: Days Of Future Past, Halle Berry recalls all of the fun times they had -- the laughs, the pranks, and of course the time when Jackman mangled a stunt man to pieces like grated cheese. "He put a whole new meaning to death by a thousand cuts," said the actress. "Well, I should say it's really love by a thousand cuts, 'cause Hugh doesn't have a murderous bone in his body, he's just the best. The stunt man did bleed out from his injuries though."

In an interview with W Magazine, Jackman's wife of 22 years, Deborra-Lee Furness, jokingly noted, "He's my little Eddie Scissorhands. It can be a bit difficult with the claws, he does keep them on while he's filming -- the whole time, I might add. But he's dedicated to his craft, so I'm happy to clean up when he accidentally slices the kitchen sink in half or bandage his little bottom when he's cut himself wiping up after a #2. Mutual respect and support is the most important thing to me and Logan. I mean, Hugh."

Considered one of the nicest men in show business, it's no surprise that the X-Men star is beloved by his peers all over. And despite being permanently banned from standing in the vicinity of any hot air balloons, hemophiliac patients, or the family of the stuntman he killed, he'll always have a place in Hollywood, and most of all, our hearts.
